Power Platform: From letter to QR code, three ways to digitize an everyday business
I recently ate at a new restaurant that had opened in Jerez, and something very simple caught my attention: each table had a QR code, and orders were sent directly to the kitchen from the customer's mobile phone. No registration or login required. At that moment, I thought… How could I do this with Power Platform?
This session stems from that curiosity. I'll start with a realistic scenario: a small, modest restaurant with few tables and standard operations. I'll then build three comparable solutions with the same objective: enabling customers to order from their mobile phones, ensuring consistent order tracking, and allowing staff to manage orders easily. We'll explore three very different ways to bring this idea to life and compare them with current market tools.
This session is designed for developers, consultants, and entrepreneurs alike. In addition to demonstrating the "how," I'll lay out the numbers: monthly cost, development hours, maintenance, and when each option makes sense.
The fundamental question is very direct… Can we really use Power Platform to provide solutions for everyday businesses?
