Microsoft tools and technologies have evolved to offer the Fabric environment and Gen2 data flows as an ideal framework to solve the questions that arise in a world of high volume and variety of data.
In this session, we will share solutions to challenges when designing an optimal and efficient semantic model from the environment and functionality integrated into Gen2 Data Flows in Microsoft Fabric.
Gen2 Data Flows represent a qualitative leap as an ETL tool and simultaneously inherit all Microsoft ETL tools' previous knowledge and functionality.
I have enjoyed this evolution in my more than 35 years of ingesting and transforming data to develop analytical models. This experience encouraged me to write a book about Power Query in Spanish because I believe this topic is relevant nowadays.
