Session
To be an entity or not to be an entity? That is the question.
Designing a model with Power Query is one of the best parts of designing and delivering analytical reports with Power BI.
The tabular model in Power BI is composed of tables and relations. Tables should be model entities. There are several scenarios where tables cannot be identified as real entities.
This session will show examples from real-life projects demonstrating the issue and improving the models.
- From snowflake to star schema.
- Entities and attributes should answer the questions:
Which is the purpose of each of them?
What about different granularities scenarios?
How to solve M:M scenarios?
Power Query will be the environment for the session.
