AI readiness is no longer just a licensing, adoption or productivity conversation. As organisations move towards Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and AI-enabled ways of working, the real challenge becomes: are we ready to govern it, secure it and trust it?

In this joint session, Shinae Haider, Daniel Brown and Andrew O’Young will explore AI readiness through the combined lenses of governance, security, and practical Microsoft implementation. We’ll look at what organisations need to consider before and during Copilot adoption, including identity, data access, information protection, oversharing risks, agent governance, policy controls, monitoring and user enablement.

Rather than treating AI as a standalone technology project, this session will show how successful Copilot adoption depends on getting the foundations right across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Purview, Defender, and the broader governance model.
