Funding and commercializing an open-source project has always been challenging, especially in Europe. Symfony, Talend, Strapi, Traefik, Bluemind, Nuxt.js, VueStoreFront... Many European examples give insights on how to move forward with an adequate funding and commercialization strategy. We'll explore the different options, focusing on the changing European VC landscape and the different commercialization strategies.
