Software architecture should be stable! Choosing the right architecture ensures that software can be successfully maintained in the future! What seems to make sense at the beginning often turns out to be the first step towards an architecture failure. When requirements, know-how or technologies change, the architecture needs to change as well. How can it then be future-proof?
