How A.R.T. can help you communicate data

Join this session to discover the power of the A.R.T. model, created by Henny Speelman. The ART model stands for Attention, Recognize, and Takeaway. It describes the three phases our brain goes through when we look at data visualization and helps data professionals communicate their data effectively via data visualizations and data storytelling.

With the A.R.T. model, we'll focus on the following questions:
- A - How do we facilitate understanding by grabbing attention?
- R - How do we facilitate building trusted decisions from our data?
- T - What enables us to make a decision?

We'll explore how this model fits inside the world of data visualization and data storytelling.

We'll explore common pitfalls in data and how to avoid them, ensuring your audience not only understands your data but also trusts it.

We’ll investigate the psychology of perception, including the dual processing theory, to uncover how your brain(s) process information and how you can use this knowledge to your advantage.

We’ll discuss the importance of knowing your audience and how to use data storytelling to get inside their minds and facilitate data understanding.

All with a fun twist towards artistic art and my personal story.

This session will transform you into a trusted data communicator, enabling you to read and communicate data's true value. Are you ready to transform the way you see the world through A.R.T.?
