Meeting the Self - how the journey into the Labyrinth transformed my life

This talk will address the hot topic of trauma and its healing paths from a personal perspective, as a woman, mother and womb-carrier. I wish to show how this deeper journey into my own Psyche (the Labyrinth) and body changed my life and my own perception of Identity and what kind of impact brought to it. My own personal story of struggle and achievements will portray a path of inner work made of many meetings with the Self.
The Journey into the labyrinth started few years ago truly changed the way I look to life, the way I parent a child with a diagnose of autism and the way I create and evolve as human being, a Woman Universalis.
Using references from science and art (I am a scientist by profession, and an educator and therapist by vocation) my unique and original contribution will make people curious about their own trauma biography and modalities to heal their traumas.
In my talk I wish to challenge the overall assumption that working with psycho-trauma is only for some people (so called traumatized people) or a luxury that only few can afford. My story will also address the societal survival strategies that are in place nowadays, stemming from collective and ancestral trauma and that are impacting each individual in many ways.
The way out is always within. The Labyrinth journey can be challenging but daring to meet the Minotaur (Trauma) can be a life changing endeavor.
