It's FIne to Start with Vibes: Just Don't End There! How to go from CLI to Prod
Like it or not, we're all "vibe coding." these days " But "vibes" are where you start, not where you end. A vibe is just a string. A production system, however, runs on contracts, type-safety, and reliability. This session is about how to bridge that gap.
This is a three-part, live-coding journey. First, we'll embrace the vibe: we'll use the Gemini CLI to run a quick, unstructured code review. Second, we'll build a simple Genkit agent to show how the CLI can call local tools for a smarter, more structured vibe.
Finally, we'll graduate this tool. We'll take this concept and build it right in our native stack. We'll build a production-ready Java agent with Spring AI, define a contract using a Java Record, and let Spring's AiClient orchestrate the review. You will leave with a clear, actionable playbook for turning your AI experiments into reliable, enterprise-ready Java applications.
