What the MCU can teach us about software development
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been delighting audiences for nearly two decades with its interconnected stories. What started as an aspiration to create super hero films grew into a world wide sensation. As the number of films and tv shows expanded, the MCU ran into issues keeping quality consistent. Some issues were publicly visible in the content, and others were hidden behind the scenes.
In this session we'll discuss the history of producing the MCU, and compare it to how software is produced. We'll discuss the early experimentation, going from an MVP to v1.0, and what happens once the software succeeds. And of course, we'll nerd out talking about super heroes.
