From DataOps to DevSecOps: Building secure data apps with Microsoft Fabric

In a cloud-first environment, data application security must be built in from the start. Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft’s unified analytics platform, empowers developers and data engineers to design, deploy, and secure data-driven applications guided by DevSecOps principles. This session will show how to architect secure solutions using OneLake, Lakehouse, Pipelines, and Notebooks, enforce security and compliance from development to production, and safely integrate generative AI features while protecting sensitive data. Attendees will learn how to apply DevSecOps practices across data workflows, safeguard data with Microsoft Purview and RBAC, and use Copilot and AI responsibly within Fabric.
