We know how to deal with increased load - just add more nodes and distribute the traffic with a load balancer. But what do you do when your load balancer dies? How can we provide HA when our data center literally disappears? How does Microsoft or AWS deal with that?

In this talk, we'll learn how load balancers work and how to keep our systems alive when they fail. We will also dive deep into load balancing techniques, DNS namespaces, unicast and anycast, and other pieces of today's internet. We will understand how big players implement load balancing and how to prevent load balancers from becoming a single point of failure.
