Microsoft 365 Copilot or Loop Rollout? - Not Without Power Platform Governance!

Many organizations face the challenge of restricting or completely disabling the availability of the Power Platform for various reasons. But is it enough to simply not assign licenses to users? Unfortunately not, because access to Power Platform services like Power Automate, Power Apps, or Copilot Studio is not solely controlled through license assignment but follows different mechanisms than Microsoft 365 services. With the increasing integration of Power Platform services into Microsoft 365, the question arises as to how meaningful such an approach is and what limitations come with it.

This presentation provides a comprehensive overview and shares best practices for an effective start to Power Platform Governance, which also takes new services such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Loop into account. A special focus is placed on how thoughtful governance enables a controlled rollout of Microsoft Loop all the way to Copilot Agents while helping to create secure and efficient work environments.
