Oniro is an Eclipse Foundation project, that is, an European based, Open Source software and specifications, Open Governance and vendor-neutral project that aims to apply the principles and practices of open collaboration to the IoT and Edge industries by creating a family of operating systems to build complex commercial solutions that connect a wide range of devices, big and small, flexible enough in its architecture to meet many use cases, even those that can and should be cloud independent.

The talk will describe the Oniro Project and the next steps that will be taken from the community, technical, product and ecosystem perspective.
