There is an intimate connection between breath and mind, by controlling the breath, we can influence the mind. Practiced correctly, yogic breathing or pranayama can steady emotions, calm frazzled nerves and create great clarity of the mind. There are specific breathing techniques to help eliminate toxins at a cellular level, improve digestion, memory, concentration, heart function and improve overall health and energy. This presentation will give a summary of scientific literature that shows these and other benefits of yogic breathing as well as 10 minutes of guided pranayama techniques.
