Microsoft introduced a new backup support back in SQL 2016 when the data files are in Azure Storage Accounts. It was yet another cloud native feature in SQL. After 6 years it has finally made its way to on-prem storage. In this session we will deep dive in the snapshot backup option, target to large volume data bases.
