Introduction to Power BI for Developers and IT Admins: beyond the misconceptions
Power BI is a Business Intelligence tool traditionally leveraged by analysts and other non-technical figures to build reports and dashboards for the business. Developers have historically been wary of it, often viewing it as a nuisance, because the product simply lacked the features needed to fit into a technical development workflow.
However, this has changed. Thanks to the significant evolution made over the years, Power BI can now be fully managed by a technical team, following standards that are similar to those of Software Development. In this session we will see:
- the Power BI Project format
- DevOps, GIT integrations and testing techniques for Power BI
- an introduction to Power BI Embedding
Attend this session if you want to rethink your approach to Power BI and evaluate whether to add it to your tech stack.
