Migrating you Power BI Semantic Model from Azure to Fabric: lessons from a real project

Migrating your Semantic Model from Azure Analysis Services to Microsoft Fabric without breaking your reports is trickier than it sounds.

In this session, which is based on a real migration with many Power BI reports across multiple workspaces, we'll cover prerequisites, the native Migration Tool with a live demo, rebinding and server redirection, and the Semantic Link Python library for alternative rebinding approaches.

You'll leave knowing what works natively, what doesn't, and what to watch out for when migrating your Semantic Model from Azure to Fabric.

Basic knowledge of what is a Power BI semantic model and what are Azure and Fabric required.
