Updating the UI in Android apps often means shipping a new version, even for small layout or content changes. Over the years, I’ve seen how this slows down teams and adds overhead that doesn’t need to be there.
In this talk, I’ll walk through how Server-Driven UI can solve this problem by letting the backend define and send the UI as JSON, so your app can render it without needing a release.

I’ll share how I built Nativeblocks, an open-source tool designed to help Android developers adopt this approach without changing the way they think about building UI. I’ll show how it works, how you can use it in a real project, and where it fits well.
