#NoFirehoses: Getting the work under control
In many companies, new work is a chaotic firehose of demands coming from all sides. Everything is a high priority must-be-done-yesterday. A "critical" backlog is so deep you’ll never complete it because the firehose of new work pushes all that “critical” work into the background. Work is pushed directly onto the devs by Product or upper management with no regard to what can actually be accomplished and what’s essential to actual customers.
In this session, you'll learn how to fix all that. You'll learn how to create a smooth and predictable workflow that gets the most valuable stuff into user/customer hands sooner and eliminates the typical conflict between product and development.
