We all use open source; learn how to give back
It's almost impossible to use an electronic device and not be using open source code. Devices and software from Apple, Google and Microsoft all rely on open source code written by the community and distributed free of charge.
The majority of developers are using languages that have open source implementations, especially since .NET went open source. We depend upon thousands of community developed libraries. And yet, most of us don't give back for a variety of reasons.
The session will cover a number of ways big and small that you can contribute to open source projects, with details of different types of open source projects and the significance of difference licenses.
