Every few months, a new “smarter” model is released - Gemini, ChatGPT, or others. But here is the truth: no new version of an LLM / VLM will solve enterprise problems by itself.
 
In this talk, we share how in the Life Sciences domain we built a modern Knowledge Management platform where the real breakthrough came not from a bigger model, but from giving AI structured access to enterprise data. Our multi-layer architecture Data Foundation, Ontologies, Execution, Operations enabled AI agents to:
– Transform hidden corporate data into a living knowledge base
– Build and refine ontologies that evolve with the company
– Make corporate knowledge accessible to every employee
– Solve diverse use cases, from marketing and translation to planning and strategic decision graphs
 
The key message: models alone are not enough. Real business value comes when Agentic AI is grounded in enterprise knowledge. This is where the next generation of developers can make a difference.
