Microsoft Teams for Schools: Just an Emergency Plan or a chance at lasting Digital Transformation?

The corona virus has forced schools all over the world to find a technology solution quickly that enables teachers to continue their teaching. Microsoft Teams came to the rescue for many schools. Educators, whose focus to date was not necessarily on technology, are now scrambling to learn how to use it. The focus is on the here and now to manage the current situation. But nobody knows how long it will take until schools can resume their traditional way of teaching.

This not only gives educators an opportunity to start thinking beyond just transferring existing processes into an online world. This is a chance to initiate Digital Transformation that will outlast the virus.

Antje Lamartine (Adoption & Change) and Thomy Gölles (Technology) will talk about:

· how some schools manage(d) this crisis using Microsoft Teams;
· how this time can be leveraged by schools to challenge the status quo;
· and how their recent learnings, combined with online tools, gives educators a chance to start the Digital Transformation process.

This session will highlight the importance of applying time-tested User Adoption methods to drive long-lasting success for students, teachers, and parents.
