In this talk, Arturo will outline the various steps that were needed to build a developer platform for software engineers at Skydio (a leading company in the world of autonomous drones ), the challenges overcome when dealing with a wide variety of different software being build (embedded, cloud, mobile).

Integrated system development requires bringing together different layers and components together and making it easy to 1) bootstrap, 2) iterate quickly and 3) connect everything together seamlessly in such a way that will have the least amount of friction on development.

By utilizing [coder](https://coder.com/) tooling along with terraform templates, we can abstract away workflows to let engineers focus on the task at hand and not have to worry about how everything is setup, we can also guarantee a workflow that has a proven golden path. We'll also briefly look at how this all gets built starting from packer -> ansible to create the base machine images.
