Telenet - a leading Belgian TelCo provider - adopted an agile-at-scale operating model across Business and IT in 2019. Since then, the company has been on an intense learning journey to realize true business agility. Most recently, Telenet rewired it’s operating model, reorienting the entire organization towards the customer and putting software at the heart of the company. This talk build on the March 2024 ETLS presentation and reflects on the last 18 months of our journey: which paradigm shifts were embraced by our leadership? Which ones proved harder (spoiler: integrating AI into our team patterns is one)? Why? And what can other leaders take-away from this experience?
