Artifactory is a foundational part of Uber’s software supply chain, powering artifact storage and distribution at scale. This talk covers how Artifactory is used at Uber, the architecture and challenges of our on-prem deployment, and our migration to the cloud. We’ll discuss replication strategies, dual-write migration, traffic shadowing, failover mechanisms, and the role of the proxy layer.
