Zero trust security for Azure
Azure makes it quick and easy to spring up new infrastructure and services in the Cloud. However, with cloud architecture and the various services in Azure, organizations must think about how they might want to architect a Zero Trust Architecture.
When viewed individually, core pillars of Zero Trust, such as network, data, and user, are bound in Azure: How is our infrastructure secured? How do we protect sensitive data and services? Which users do we authenticate in our system? However, this approach misses the intersection across Zero Trust pillars in the Microsoft cloud as a whole.
During this workshop, we will whiteboard Microsoft's security stack in an interactive discussion, aligning Microsoft's solutions to desired security capabilities against the Zero Trust framework. As we whiteboard, we'll also go hands-on with creating a start to a Zero Trust architecture in Azure. This will include leveraging tools provided by Microsoft and walking through the various design decisions for achieving Zero Trust in your Azure environment!
