Scrum is Not the Point: Focusing on Done & Delivery in Scrum
Scrum is not the point. I know. That’s an odd thing to say in the abstract for a Scrum workshop, huh? It’s true though. The Scrum process is a tool for helping to deliver great, done, working software. The point is delivering the ‘done software’ not simply doing Scrum.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll teach you Scrum from a whole new perspective. We’ll start by reviewing the role, events, and artifacts of Scrum with an emphasis on how those things help you to actually deliver software. From there, we’ll talk about ways to get more out of your team by minimizing work in progress and focusing on decreasing your batch size. Along the way, we’ll talk about communication strategies, metrics, and how to predict the future.
If you’re new to Scrum & Agile or even if you’ve been doing Scrum for years, this workshop will give you what you need to deliver using Scrum
