When psychological safety becomes a necessity

The day I met the team, some were in burn-out, others had resigned and the rest were on hold. My mission at the time was to "stop the bleeding". The terms were alarming, because the team was in psychological distress.
Here's a summary of the 9 months I spent with this team, during which I implemented psychological safety from scratch (supporting the team, management and customers through principles, workshops and reflections).
This feedback will be anonymised because, although we saw benefits, this was not always the case.
