Nines All the Way Down: Resiliency for Linux on IBM Z and LinuxONE in the Context of DORA

BM Z and IBM LinuxONE provide enterprise-wide availability for workloads, designed to operate at 99.99999% availability. But what do availability and resiliency mean in the context of z/VM, Linux on IBM Z, or containers? And with the EU Digital Operations Resiliency Act (DORA) officially enacted and live, how are rules changing with regards not only to standard back-up and HA, but recovery in the event of a cyber attack? This presentation will explain the needs of HA and DR in a LinuxONE environment, using Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) as a model for a workload that can provide compliant business continuity in the face of catastrophe.
