Session

Accessibility starts from Design

For years, there has been a common belief in our sector: implementing accessibility means creating ugly and boring interfaces for the benefit of a small group of people considered out of the target of the corporate business.
In this session, I want to try to dispel this myth and propose a new point of view.
We will try to understand together how designing accessibility is the real modern challenge that every designer is called to face today if he/she wishes to create a system with truly complete and effective user experience.
A challenge that requires a radical change of mindset, a study of UX related to disability which must inspire us to create flexible interfaces capable of providing as many use cases as possible. In this perspective, accessibility becomes one of the new frontiers of design and innovation; an effective approach to creating a truly great user experience for ALL users.
