Psychosocial skills (PSS) in Zambia: How culture, church, and the concept of Ubuntu lead the way!
The benefits of social-emotional learning and psychosocial skills in rural Zambia are the targets of this study. Taylor et al. (2017) found positive SEL effects for students from diverse socioeconomic demographics however, studies did not report ethnicity, and few reported students in poverty. They suggest studies to assess how students from diverse socioeconomic and ethnic groups respond to SEL.
