This beginner-friendly, one-day workshop is designed to guide participants through the foundational steps of building impactful reports in Power BI, while introducing the power of AI and Copilot along the way.

Participants will start by learning how to connect to and transform raw data using Power BI Desktop. Through hands-on exercises, they’ll explore core features such as data transformation, visual creation, and interactivity features like drill-through and field parameters. As the day progresses, learners will discover how to infuse AI into their reports using built-in visuals like Key Influencers and Smart Narratives, and how to prepare their data models for Copilot compatibility.

The final session will be a live demonstration showcasing Power BI Service and Copilot capabilities in the cloud, giving participants a glimpse into the future of AI-assisted reporting and how their work in Desktop sets the stage for it.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have built their first Power BI report from scratch and gained a clear understanding of how to elevate their reporting with AI and prepare for Copilot-powered experiences.
