Good data is necessary for any business to remain profitable. And obviously, we would assume that more data means more profitability. Right? Well, it does until it doesn’t. Once data has outlived its usefulness, it’s considered ROT and should ideally be purged from our systems because it’s likely costing us more money than it’s worth.
