We are in the midst of the 4th Industrial Revolution, also called the “digital revolution,” that has been occurring since the middle of the last century. Up to now, inventions were in leaner, something leads to something but now, electronics and information technology, speeding up other inventions in every direction.

We have to analyze why today’s transformations represent not only the continuation of the 3rd Industrial Revolution but rather the arrival of a distinct one: velocity, scope, and systems impact. How can we adjust and adapt our coaching skills to provide value and positive results to our clients as DevOps coaches?

During this transformation, as DevOps coaches, we have a bigger role to play. We cannot just concentrate on one dimension: technology. We have to consider the organization’s and team’s performance as well as how team members, executives, and leaders are coping with the change.
