Sharing Native Kubernetes APIs Across Multiple Clusters With kbind

We live in a multi-cluster world, but our custom controllers are still trapped in isolation. When you need to share a custom service, like a database platform, an internal AI gateway, or a messaging tier, across dozens of remote clusters, what do you do?
You either copy-paste CRD definitions, duplicate heavy operators everywhere, or stand up brittle GitOps syncing pipelines. There has to be a better way.

Enter kbind, a newly accepted CNCF Sandbox project designed to usher in a "post-operator" era. kbind introduces a native API projection mechanism that cleanly separates service providers from service consumers.
