What kind of applications are possible if communications no longer require API calls? Imagine a world where two applications can communicate directly when in physical view of each other. No platform lock-in, proprietary APIs, or application downloads required. With modern PWA standards, all of this can also be nicely packaged into a dedicated app directly from the browser.

This talk explores the possibilities of creating message-less applications that communicate via QR codes.
