Wish Granted! A Month-end Accounting Task Checklist in Business Central
I hear it frequently, "We need a month-end close check list in BC."
My response, "We have month-end checklist capabilities in Business Central and we have for quite a while."
During this session, I will share with you functionality that is simple, powerful and underutilized. With it, we will quickly create a custom Month-end Check List that:
1. Is right in BC
2. Lists tasks with start and end dates
3. Has assigned user or a group of users
4. From the task, takes you right to the page for the work
5. Allows for marking tasks as in progress or complete
6. Shows all tasks to anyone that needs to see them.
As an added bonus, I will share with you checklists for use in other departments such as inventory control and master data management.
Yes, there is a bit of work to do, but I assure you that in the time it takes to present this session, you too can have a Month-end Close check list in Business Central.
