Session

Creating a CTF Platform for Wardriving, Wireless, and RF Technologies

This session explores the design and development of an open-source CTF platform focused on wardriving, wireless, and radio frequency (RF) technologies. From widely used protocols such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to IoT and telecommunications systems, participants will gain insight into how wireless communication is present in everyday environments wherever antennas and RF hardware exist.

We will cover the architecture behind the platform, the challenges of modeling real-world wireless scenarios, and how to create engaging, hands-on challenges that simulate RF-based attacks and analysis. The talk also highlights how this platform can be used as a learning tool for both beginners and advanced practitioners interested in wireless security, signal intelligence, and hardware interaction.

Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how to build, extend, and use CTF environments to explore the invisible layer of wireless communication that surrounds us.
