In this session we will examine the different layers of an enterprise digital architecture and discuss the varying types of integration models that work to connect those layers. For example, the Systems of Record may expose highly reusable APIs which are then consumed by the Systems of Differentiation and the Systems of Innovation layers. Each layer moves at different speeds and therefore has different requirements for ownership, release management, release cadence, governance, etc. We’ll also discuss the different types of Microsoft integration technologies which are best suited for each layer (e.g. BizTalk Server vs. Microsoft Flow).
