Building More Equitable, Inclusive, and Empowering Communities through the TREC Model.

Trauma-Resilient Educational Communities (TREC) is weaving through the CA Collective Impact Cooperative of Communities, through PACEs Connection, and supporting the cross-sector, across the lifespan, community-driven braiding of equity-focused services and trauma-resilient policies and practices. The TREC ecosystem is supporting the momentum specifically for the counties of Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego. In alignment with five other counties, Orange, Sacramento, Santa Barbara, Sonoma, and Yolo, the nine counties are dismantling systemic racism and decolonizing agencies, service providers, and systems, grass-roots to grass-tops.

Our wrap-around approach improves children, youth, and families access to quality care, builds community awareness and connectivity, and supports equitable access to, and beyond, basic needs.

Lifting up pockets of greatness in San Diego County, and beyond, the collective impact throughout California strategic partnerships is braiding services and weaving the healing-centered social fabric of neighborhoods and communities.

In partnership with the Campaign for Trauma-Informed Policy & Practice (CTIPP), the National Cooperative of Communities is vested with weaving National laws and tethering the sustainable transformation of policies and practices for all sectors.

Join us as we highlight the statewide best practices of our CA Collective Impact! We’d like to promote the learning opportunities and invite you to join the movement. The memberships to the Cooperatives are free for anyone residing in the Cooperative of Communities counties.

As the TREC Model expands through the Cooperative of Communities, the trauma-resilient, healing-centered movement and equity-focused momentum will transform individuals, communities, cities, and counties as a model for our nation.
