Currently, there is an excellent Zephyr board porting guide, anyhow for a newcomer trying to upstream support for a new board this is not enough.

This presentation will explore the complete timeline for upstream your board patches with a focus on how to interact with the community in order to optimize the time from
first iteration to final patch acceptance.

Will start with the preparatory steps of adding the toolchain support and then integrating it into Zephyr CI environment. Then will go over and understand how the board patches should
be organized, with a focus on code quality, documentation and tests.

Lastly, we will walk through basics rules, tips and tricks on interacting with the maintainers and how to find information in order to accelerate development.
