This session is suitable for all knowledge levels (100-400). We will start with the basics, such as “What are Power FX commands” and “How can they help improve my model-driven Power App”. We will then move to best practice experiences like “How to use the confirm function”, “When to use Power FX commands – and when not to”, and “What alternatives could I use”. Finally, we will cover workarounds for the current technical limitations of Power FX commands, including “What alternative to a collection could I use”, “How to get the current user”, “How to build a timer alternative”, and “How to use AI capabilities”.
By the end of this session, you will understand what Power FX commands are and how they can help improve your model-driven Power Apps. You will know workarounds for the most important technical limitations of Power FX commands and be able to enhance your model-driven Power Apps with Power FX commands.
