Through practical examples, we’ll explore tools and plugins for Figma and Figma Dev Mode that streamline collaboration and create a shared language to bridge the gap between design and development.

This talk bridges my passion for storytelling with technical presentations. We follow our main characters, Captain McMeowy and Lieutenant Good Boy who have crashed their rocket ship on a planet and now have to work together to escape before the dreaded alien Leaddine reaches them. With AI voices, we bring the characters to life as they work through common struggles of design to developer handoffs, particularly those around accessibility, design token usage and documentation, to learn how we can collaborate more effectively even though we may be speaking relatively different languages.
