I believe strongly that those of us who check most or all of the "privilege" boxes need to acknowledge this, and use our platform to lift up others.

In this session, I will discuss some of the ways that I strive to be an ally and advocate for those in groups that are underrepresented in the IT field.

This will also be an open and honest discussion in which audience members can educate me and others about how to get better at this.
