Tabular Editor (TE) is a widely-used tool for Power BI and Analysis Services data model development that provides a range of features to streamline your development process and improve your productivity.

In this session, we will cover the full lifecycle of a data model using TE, including how to:
• Download and install TE.
• Connect to existing or create new data models
• Define and work with data sources
• Create and manage hierarchies, display folders, measures, calculation groups, and more.
• Use Git to track and control changes over time
• Validate your data model using the Best Practice Analyzer.
• Build and deploy the model to Azure Analysis Services or Power BI Service.

By the end of the session, you will have a comprehensive understanding of how to use TE to develop and manage high-quality data models.

Note: Some experience with Analysis Services Tabular, Azure Analysis Services, or Power BI data models is recommended to fully understand the concepts covered in this session.
