In many products, writing rich and structured descriptions is a key requirement. From this need, it’s possible to develop solutions that go beyond a simple text field, evolving into powerful documentation and real-time collaboration tools.

In this talk, I’ll share the technical and design decisions behind building a flexible and performant WYSIWYG editor with Tiptap. From the initial setup to the Angular integration, all the way to adding advanced features.

It’s an opportunity to see how a common need can evolve into a core feature, and how a solid technical solution can become a way to enhance the user experience.
