In deze workshop zal Dave Stork belangrijke technieken en strategieën behandelen die de inkomende en uitgaande mailflow van uw organisatie beschermen. Onderwerpen die voorbij zullen komen:

-het implementeren van SPF, DKIM en DMARC deep dive.
-omgaan met mail subdomeinen, forwarding en mail vanuit andere SaaS-diensten.
-voorbeeld implementatie van MTA-STS.
-troubleshooting via mail headers.

-Hoe dit werkt in huidige en toekomstige Microsoft 365 functionaliteit.

In this session, Stefan van der Wiele and Dave Stork will talk about passwordless login with Microsoft 365. Dave focuses on the process he went through at SimplifyNow and the decisions and challenges they encountered at that time. Stefan will show you in a no slide 15 minute demo how you can switch to passwordless and what options there are.

This session will go through the capabilities of Exchange Online (Office 365) to further secure your email data and mail flow. Questions like:
• How can I ensure mails are not intercepted by third parties?
• Which tools are available to limit (inadvertent) data leaks?
• How can I mitigate mail spoofing and malicious emails?
• How to ensure end-point security on clients?
During the sessions techniques like Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, RMS (Rights Management Services), DLP (Data Loss Prevention) are discussed and how an admin can use them to further secure their organizations mail platform. The main focus will be Exchange Online, but other services from Office 365 and Azure AD will make an appearance. Also, some techniques are also valid for On-premises Exchange environments.

Mastering Mailflow Security: Strategies to Protect Your Organization with Microsoft 365ennl

In this session, Dave Stork will cover key techniques and strategies that protect your organization's incoming and outgoing mail flow. Topics that will pass by:

Passwordless! De weg ernaartoe is makkelijker dan je denkt.nl

Ik ga het in deze sessie hebben over hoe wij bij SimplifyNow naar echt volledig wachtwoordloos (passwordless) inloggen zijn gegaan met behulp van Microsoft 365/Azure AD. En met volledig bedoelen ik: niemand weet meer het eigen wachtwoord!

We gaan het hebben waarom we dit hebben gedaan, de voordelen dit heeft maar ook welke uitdagingen we zijn tegengekomen. Daarbij zal ik een aantal scenarios bespreken, zoals nieuwe medewerkers, telefoon verloren en dergelijke zaken.

Volledig wachtwoordloos werken zoals wij nu hebben is waarschijnlijk op moment nog niet voor iedere organisatie haalbaar, maar men kan waarschijnlijk nu al meer stappen doen dan men denkt. Ook als men een hybride omgeving heeft. Ik hoop met deze sessie verder inzicht te geven in de tussenstappen en plannen die het uiteindelijk wél mogelijk gaan maken.

Licht technische sessie, maar vooral strategisch met eigen ervaringen met de implementatie.

Hybrid Exchange Challenges: Solutions for 2025ennl

In this session Dave Stork will discuss the upcoming challenges that organizations will have to face when they are a Hybrid Organization and still have on-premises Exchange Server.

Support for Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 has ended in October 2025 and hybrid mail flow from unsupported versions of Exchange Servers will be throttled and eventually blocked by Exchange Online.

Do you need to upgrade to Exchange Server Subscription Edition?
Can you get completely rid of your on-premises Exchange servers?
Do you want to or is it even possible in your situation?
How will you manage mail relaying from your on-premises applications?
And what about External Recipient Restrictions and High-Volume Email enforcement?

After this session attendees will have insight into what challenges they might have, and which solutions might be possible.

Exchange Server 2016/2019 will have no support on 14 October 2025, and the successor Exchange Server Subscription Edition will be released at the beginning of second half of 2025. So, more information could be available at that time and that might change some things.
