In this workshop, Dave Stork will cover key techniques and strategies that protect your organization's inbound and outbound mail flow. Topics that will pass by:

-implementing SPF, DKIM and DMARC deep dive.
-dealing with mail subdomains, forwarding and mail from other SaaS services.
example implementation of MTA-STS.
-troubleshooting via mail headers.
-checking DMARC reporting
-How to use this in current and upcoming Microsoft 365 features.

Workshop with hopefully a lot of interaction. You can bring your own scenarios and examples (provided no privacy issues, etc.).

Hands-on one learns the possibilities and configuration options of SPF, DKIM and DMARC and in which situations one should or should not use which values.
Also checking why an email is or is not filtered, by examining logs, reports and mail headers.
Your own laptop is useful here.
