The presentation is about a project that aims to establish a reliable Source of Truth (SoT) for well data management in Norway's oil and gas industry. The SoT will automatically compare and rectify discrepancies in well metadata and data from the customer, Sodir, Diskos and the Operator. The process begins with data ingestion facilitated by Microsoft Fabric, which allows data to be ingested from diverse sources and formats. Data extraction from unstructured PDFs from Diskos is addressed using AI and NLP techniques. The identified discrepancies and the corrected metadata are then presented to the customer in a Power BI dashboard. The project initially focuses on well coordinates before delving into more detailed well data.
